Peter Lam
Co-Founder, Technical & Delivery Lead
Peter brings over 20 years of renewable energy experience through his work at WE Energy, the sister company to WE Power. He has delivered major commercial solar programmes across the UK, including 350+ solar PV installations for Aldi supermarkets, alongside multiple grid-connected and private-wire renewable energy systems. He was the Chief Engineer for numerous Telcos around the world and has designed, built and operated 11 country networks, including Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands, Hong Kong and Japan.
Peter oversees technical design, engineering, and project delivery. He lives in Wiltshire, his children attended Marlborough College, and is a long-standing advocate for practical, cost-effective sustainability.
Marcus Heal
Co-Founder, Strategy & Energy Systems Lead
Since 2011, Marcus has developed and installed over 2,000 solar-plus-storage systems globally, working across Europe, the Caribbean, Asia and Africa. His background spans large-scale solar farms, utility BESS, microgrids, project finance and energy-as-a-service models for institutions and corporates. Marcus leads WE Power’s strategic partnerships, financial structuring and the integration of BESS for discounted energy supply to schools. He lives in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, and his children attended Eton College.
Simon Briggs
Co-Founder, Construction & Infrastructure Lead
Simon has an extensive background in construction, estates management and infrastructure development, ensuring all WE Power projects are delivered to the highest safety and compliance standards. He oversees civil works, site preparation, programme management and contractor coordination throughout each project lifecycle. Simon lives in West Sussex, and his family has longstanding links to King’s Canterbury which his children attended.
